Zimbabwe Famine

Do you see that?

No, your eyes are not deceiving you.
That Black figure in that green broken bowl is a human being.

This picture brought tears to my eyes.

Could you imagine that being the real life image of your baby boy?

Well believe that there are families out there suffering and dyeing at the hands of Famine.
People have no food
I can't even being to imagine what it feels like to starve
And people have the nerve to cry about the most useless things
This beautiful child is dyeing in Zimbabwe, Africa
Zimbabwean archbishop, Pius Ncube, said yesterday that:
200,000 Zimbabweans may die by early next year because of food shortages

Look at him!

He's not 2 weeks old
He's holding himself up in that broken basin
Babies can't hold themselves up
He's at least 9 months old, but I believe he's older then that
I suggest he's at least 2 years young
God Bless those who have not.

John 6:53-58
Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him. Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me. This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your forefathers ate manna and died, but he who feeds on this bread will live forever."

It hurts to see that.

I'm glad to have been the inspiration to bring this issue back into your frontal vision.

Imagine how many blessings Kevin Carter would have received had he picked that little girl up and taken her to the food camp?

Would he be dead right now?
We will never know.

But I do know this, the talents he possessed that won him that Pulitzer prize were ultimately taken away from him.

God maketh
giveth
and Taketh.
