Booker Taliaferro Washington

"Success is to be measured not so much by the position that
one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome while trying to succeed."

Hey Professor!

LOL

Thanks for stopping by.

And I agree that this is indeed the true definition of success. We see it too many times where people achieve on the struggles and downfall of others. How is that success?

If I was born with a wooden spoon in my mouth and still found a way to give my children at least brass I have succeeded.

If I gave it my all and hurt noone along my path I have succeed.

Brother Washington spoke the truth.

Jamie--once again you know how to make me laugh. You are a trip!

Hey GeorgiaPeach! Welcome my Nubian Sistah.
I'm glad you enjoyed the gallery. Please feel free to make some reviews on the artwork displayed there. I'd be thrilled to read what they make you feel;what they remind you of; etc.

I see my gallery is getting more and more hits, but noone leaves reviews.
Ah well, you can't force ppl to talk.
I will stop by your spot when I get a chance.
Thanks again
