Hey Everyone!
My long summer vacation is officially over. School is back in session today for the children of NYC Public School, so it is time for me to go and serve my country (LOL) and educate the youth of tomorrow.
My partner and I spent many hours last week setting up our classroom and getting our plans ready for the week.
Last year I had my own classroom of all special education students. This year I'm teaching in a Collaborative Team Teaching (CTT) class, where there are 2 teachers, one general ed and one special ed. We will have a few special ed students and the majority will be general ed.
My partner is so warm and fuzzy. LOL
So wish me luck as I start my first day of my 2nd year.

Who would have thought you'd be back to work from vacation. Now that just sound ludacris. Just kidding. I have finally set my vacation dates. I won't be on vacation as long as you have been but I have set it for Nov. 19 -Nov. 30. BTW - my birthday is Nov. 21. yeah me!!

Good luck girlie!! That is so wonderful. My grandmother worked in the school system with severely handicapped children for 21 years! Live it up because I am sure that the benefits of what you are doing go both ways.
