R.I.P. Uncle Frank

My uncle Frank passed away last night.
I pray he's in a better place.

John 5:24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

He was my fathers brother.
They shared the same father.
They had different mothers.
He was in his early 50's.

I wasn't close to him at all.
I don't really remember anything about him other then he was my uncle Frank. He has 2 children--both are boys--I don't even remember their names.
He lived in Queens, N.Y.
After his divorce he became an alcoholic and had severe liver disease.
He had a stroke last year.
Last night he wasn't feeling too well so he called my uncle Prince--his younger brother--to take him to the hospital.
They called an ambulance.....

And that was all he wrote.

I'm going to visit my closest aunt today--his youngest sister--in Worcester, M.A. because she sounded really down when I called her.
I'll most likely stay there overnight.

I don't think I can handle another Funeral so soon.
I know most of you are new to my blog, but I lost my Gramma on Feb. 16, 2005.
That was very difficult for me.

Click the following link to read the post I made in reference to what I and my family believe was an afterdeath encounter with my Gramma.
She spoke to me again

JB I know how it hurts to lose loved ones. There was a period in my life it seemed like an endless stream of bad luck.. or circumchance..maybe fate , or was this the way it was meant to be...?

Here is one of my most favorite sayings...

Death is simply a shedding of the physical body, like the butterfly coming out of a cocoon. It is a transition into a higher state of comsciousness, where you continue to perceive, to understand, to laugh, to be able to grow, and the only thing you lose is something you don't need anymore...your physical body...
It's like putting away your winter coat, when spring comes....

my sympathy for you and your family... it weird how sometimes one death can bring us to our knees and another really doesn't even affect us

Thank you, everyone for your deep conerns and sympathy and most importantly thank you all for prayers.

My family is doing real good considering the circumstances.
My uncle Frank had no life insurance and so the family has to come together and raise money for his funeral.
The family has decided to send his body back home to Liberia, Africa--where he was born--because this was his plans for this coming summer. Death intervined in those plans, but my family still wants to grant him this wish.

I will check up on everyone real soon.

Thank you all once again. You don't even know how much reading all of your comments meant to me. They really touched my heart.
